FAMOUS FLUTE PERFORMANCES

At Flute Lessons Perth, advanced flute students are always encouraged to listen to recordings of different master professional flautists playing their pieces. Younger students are also encouraged to listen to professional recordings to expose themselves to the beautiful velvet tone of the flute and to help give themselves something to aim towards with their own flute playing.

Here is a selection of some beautiful and inspiring music for all to enjoy and to inspire students flautists. As you will hear; the flute is a very versatile instrument and is beautiful when playing both Classical and Popular music.

Firstly though before we get on to what the professionals can do, here is a very talented and inspiring little girl, only 7 years of age called Emma Resmini. Here she is playing a very popular show piece Chaminade Concertino for Flute and Piano.

Music enhances the process of learning

“Music enhances the process of learning. The systems they nourish, which include our integrated sensory, attention, cognitive, emotional and motor capacities, are shown to be the driving forces behind all other learning.” (Konrad, R.R. Empathy, Arts and Social Studies, 2000).
